As a result, the mountain has essentially become Class E's homeground, having much more familiarity with the territory than any opponent that crosses it.
Karasuma deems that as long as the students are within the bounds of the school, they are the world's most terrifying group of assassins.

Other favouring factors include Karma's leadership, Ritsu's aerial surveillance and under-appraisal of the kids' strength from Karasuma (ie false intel)

At the end of the chapter Houjou makes an appearance, and one of the students has been knocked out. Excusing himself for underestimating them this much, he offers to teach them a lesson seriously.
Karasuma hopes that the kids will recall the basics of assassination. As warned before, if Houjou gets serious, the situation can turn around in an instant.

School Commuting Time

Against an opponent who is 3 times stronger than Karasuma, if they run away, they'll be caught for sure. If they get dragged into a battle, they'll lose for sure.

So Class E's tactic against Houjou: rush him, don't give him any breathing space. Don't let him have a chance to turn the situation into a battle.
They're sticking with the basics of assassination: kill him before he can fight back.

Don't let him use his gun, close range assault him using a variety of weapons and style. Retreat immediately after attacking, don't stay close.

Ultimately, after preventing him from getting off a single attack, Class E succeeded in restraining him.

Inside the barrier, the students greet Korosensei with guns and knives. He stops their attempt with a relieved smile.
The Operation's HQ's camera feed have picked up Class E's entry into the barrier. Accordingly, Karasuma and Irina head for the school.

The deadline to assassinate Korosensei is only ... 90 minutes away.
And Yanagisawa's team are now inside the barrier

Final Boss Time

The Operation's HQ's camera feed have caught Yanagisawa and the Second's intrusion, and they're going to observe the battle for combat data.

At the moment, Korosensei stands no chance.
What we learn about the Second:
 

• Has undergone the same modifications as Korosensei, but fully willingly
• His tentacles have an initial velocity of Mach 2, and a maximum instantaneous velocity of Mach 40 (but there's no point in getting that fast inside the confining barrier)
• Can create destructive sonic booms
• Unlike with the ordinary Itona and Kayano, and similar to his master, his superhuman kinetic vision and intuition lets him adapt to the speed of sound easily.
  

And there's one more big difference too: the tentacles this time aren't going to be used continually.
The Second is not going to require any maintenance, he's going to be fully disposable. In exchange for shortening his lifespan to less than 3 months, he's been tuned so that he can draw out a tremendous amount of energy.
Of course, there's no danger of exploding when he dies. He's a safe, but perfect weapon.

What's more Yanagisawa is joining the battle ... by injecting himself with a tentacle seed.
By embedding the tentacle(s?) across his body, he can become superhuman while still retaining his human functions.
He doesn't care about his own life, as long as he can kill the one who took everything away from him.

By principle, hitmen are supposed to avoid direct combat using any method there is. But there are moments in life when one has to fight with everything they have.
For Korosensei, the time is now.
