Your honest attitude impressed Kaneki, you both understand each other because of your similarities. He thinks you're different and you're never boring to be with. Both of you share similar views, as well as a love for freedom and individuality.  Although he doesn't show it, he definitely likes you. He gets all flustered when someone mentions his crush on you. Even though you put up a strong front, you'll let him see past your walls.

• Touka Kirishima
She admires how blunt and determined you can be, and you have proven to be a trustworthy person in her life. The first ghoul you got along with was Touka, and since then you've always had each other's back. You visited the cafe she works at, where you also became friends with Nishiki. Although you can sometimes get into fights, you always make up and continue being close.

Enemies: Amon
This guy seriously annoys you. He believes all ghouls are evil, and a powerful ghoul like you is considered a serious enemy. Be careful around him. 

Story:
It was midnight and the beautiful round moon could barely be seen behind the clouds.  The fresh scent of rain filled the air , as well as the odour of blood. Other than the quick, increasingly loud footsteps behind you, only the monotone beat of rainfall pelting the streets below could be heard. You were also conscious of the steady pounding of your own feet, as you were running for your life. Your wounds were deep, and the trail of blood only helped your persecutor follow you. But what led to this?

The CCG team was after another ghoul, and you intervened. Why? Because the ghoul was a 9 year old girl. She would've be killed right then and there. You saved the kid all right, but you might not be able to save yourself. Was it a foolish decision? Perhaps. But you did what you thought was right at the moment. Now you had to face the consequences... 

You stopped running, panting, and slowly turned around. You gritted your teeth as you willed your kagune to appear once again. You weren't running away from this, you were going to fight. The two humans caught up to you, their weapons at arms. You ran forward, bearing your kagune at their direction. One human dodged; the other barely deflected your attack. As you brought your attention to the stronger human, the other one took advantage of the moment to strike you from behind. The battle was long, and with the fresh wound on your back, you felt yourself becoming weaker.
This is it. This would be your end.

You didn't notice the dark figure creeping in the background. Its razor sharp reflexes dodged every attack from the humans, and with extreme accuracy his attacks subjugated your opponents. Within a minute both were wounded, and could no longer defend themselves. The person looked up at you, red pupils staring in the dark. You tried to get up, but your whole body was in pain. What exactly are this ghoul's intentions? The ghoul loomed towards you, and your mind raced, trying to come up with something. In the darkness, a pale hand was offered to you; fingernails dark, perhaps black. You looked at the stranger's face, most peculiar of all was his hair: an off-white color. 
His eyes, now turned normal, held a vacant expression. But his smile, unexpectedly warm, filled you with hope.
